{"id":10723,"date":"2014-01-27T09:54:18","date_gmt":"2014-01-27T14:54:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/co2mannatoday.com\/?p=10723"},"modified":"2014-01-27T10:46:12","modified_gmt":"2014-01-27T15:46:12","slug":"look-again-and-think-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/co2mannatoday.com\/?p=10723","title":{"rendered":"Look Again and Think"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Do not worry about your life . . . \u2014<a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?version=31&amp;search=Matthew+6%3A25\" target=\"_blank\">Matthew 6:25<\/a><\/h1>\n<p><!-- .entry-meta --> <!-- .entry-header --><\/p>\n<section>\n<div><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/XH967YzJf30\" height=\"315\" width=\"620\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><br \/>\nA warning which needs to be repeated is that \u201cthe cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches,\u201d and the lust for other things, will choke out the life of God in us (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Matthew+13:22\">Matthew 13:22<\/a>). We are never free from the recurring waves of this invasion. If the frontline of attack is not about clothes and food, it may be about money or the lack of money; or friends or lack of friends; or the line may be drawn over difficult circumstances. It is one steady invasion, and these things will come in like a flood, unless we allow the Spirit of God to raise up the banner against it.\u201cI say to you, do not worry about your life . . . .\u201d Our Lord says to be careful only about one thing-our relationship to Him. But our common sense shouts loudly and says, \u201cThat is absurd, I <em>must<\/em> consider how I am going to live, and I <em>must<\/em> consider what I am going to eat and drink.\u201d Jesus says you must not. Beware of allowing yourself to think that He says this while not understanding your circumstances. Jesus Christ knows our circumstances better than we do, and He says we must not think about these things to the point where they become the primary concern of our life. Whenever there are competing concerns in your life, be sure you always put your relationship to God first.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSufficient for the day is its own trouble\u201d (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Matthew+6:34\">Matthew 6:34<\/a>). How much trouble has begun to threaten you today? What kind of mean little demons have been looking into your life and saying, \u201cWhat are your plans for next month\u2014 or next summer?\u201d Jesus tells us not to worry about any of these things. Look again and think. Keep your mind on the \u201cmuch more\u201d of your heavenly Father (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Matthew+6:30\">Matthew 6:30<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>_______________________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;\">January 27, 2014<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;\">Lord, just when I think I have focused on my connection with You, some issue jumps up and grabs my attention. \u00a0I lose sight of You and focus on my needs, circumstances and difficulties.\u00a0 Please help me focus on our connection; help me become a man after Your own heart, stepping out in faith in the ways You would have me live.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">And God says<i>\u2026\u201dI know the plans I have for you, for good and a future.\u00a0 Delight yourself in the Lord, and I will give you the desires of your heart.\u00a0 Acknowledge Me in all your ways and I will make your paths straight. Seek first the Kingdom of God, which is Jesus, and everything you need will be provided.
