The devil never inflicts pain there, and neither can sin nor human emotions.<a rel=\"attachment wp-att-1275\" href=\"http:\/\/co2mannatoday.com\/wordpress\/?attachment_id=1275\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1275\" title=\"Picture 5\" src=\"http:\/\/co2mannatoday.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/Picture-5-300x88.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"180\" height=\"53\" srcset=\"http:\/\/co2mannatoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/Picture-5-300x88.png 300w, http:\/\/co2mannatoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/Picture-5.png 375w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 180px) 100vw, 180px\" \/><\/a> Nothing can cut through to that part of our being but the Word of God. &#8220;Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, \u2019Do you love Me?\u2019 &#8221; Yet he was awakened to the fact that at the center of his personal life he was devoted to Jesus.<a rel=\"attachment wp-att-1276\" href=\"http:\/\/co2mannatoday.com\/wordpress\/?attachment_id=1276\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1276\" title=\"Picture 13\" src=\"http:\/\/co2mannatoday.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/Picture-13.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"173\" height=\"65\" \/><\/a> And then he began to see what Jesus\u2019 patient questioning meant. There was not the slightest bit of doubt left in Peter\u2019s mind; he could never be deceived again. <a rel=\"attachment wp-att-1277\" href=\"http:\/\/co2mannatoday.com\/wordpress\/?attachment_id=1277\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-1277\" title=\"Picture 15\" src=\"http:\/\/co2mannatoday.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/Picture-15.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"157\" height=\"46\" \/><\/a>And there was no need for an impassioned response; no need for immediate action or an emotional display. It was a revelation to him to realize how much he did love the Lord, and with amazement he simply said, &#8220;Lord, You know all things . . . .&#8221; Peter began to see how very much he did love Jesus, and there was no need to say, &#8220;Look at this or that as proof of my love.&#8221; <strong>Peter was beginning to discover within himself just how much he really did love the Lord<\/strong>. He discovered that his eyes were so fixed on Jesus Christ that he saw no one else in heaven above or on the earth below. <a rel=\"attachment wp-att-1280\" href=\"http:\/\/co2mannatoday.com\/wordpress\/?attachment_id=1280\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1280\" title=\"Picture 17\" src=\"http:\/\/co2mannatoday.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/Picture-17-300x88.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"210\" height=\"62\" srcset=\"http:\/\/co2mannatoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/Picture-17-300x88.png 300w, http:\/\/co2mannatoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/Picture-17.png 378w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 210px) 100vw, 210px\" \/><\/a><strong>But he did not know it until the probing, hurting questions of the Lord were asked.<\/strong> The Lord\u2019s questions always reveal the true me to myself.<\/p>\n<p>Oh, the wonder of the patient directness and skill of Jesus Christ with Peter! <strong>Our Lord never asks questions until the perfect time. <\/strong><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-1279\" href=\"http:\/\/co2mannatoday.com\/wordpress\/?attachment_id=1279\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-1279\" title=\"Picture 18\" src=\"http:\/\/co2mannatoday.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/Picture-181-300x133.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"210\" height=\"93\" srcset=\"http:\/\/co2mannatoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/Picture-181-300x133.png 300w, http:\/\/co2mannatoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/Picture-181.png 399w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 210px) 100vw, 210px\" \/><\/a><strong>Rarely, but probably once in each of our lives, He will back us into a corner where He will hurt us with His piercing questions.<\/strong> Then we will realize that we do love Him far more deeply than our words can ever say.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<hr \/>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>March 2, 2010 Have You Felt the Pain Inflicted by the Lord?
