Look at any other aspect of Christ\u2019s work, whether it is healing, saving, or sanctifying, and you will see that there is nothing limitless about those. But\u2014 \u201cThe Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!\u201d\u2014 that is limitless (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=John+1:29\">John 1:29<\/a>).<\/div>\n<div class=\"post-content\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"post-content\">The missionary\u2019s message is the limitless importance of Jesus Christ as the propitiation for our sins, and a missionary is someone who is immersed in the truth of that revelation.The real key to the missionary\u2019s message is the \u201cremissionary\u201d aspect of Christ\u2019s life, not His kindness, His goodness, or even His revealing of the fatherhood of God to us. \u201c\u2026repentance and <em>remission<\/em> of sins should be preached\u2026to all nations\u2026\u201d (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Luke+24:47\">Luke 24:47<\/a>). The greatest message of limitless importance is that \u201cHe Himself is the propitiation for our sins\u2026.\u201d<\/div>\n<div class=\"post-content\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"post-content\">The missionary\u2019s message is not nationalistic, favoring nations or individuals; it is \u201cfor the whole world.\u201d When the Holy Spirit comes into me, He does not consider my partialities or preferences; He simply brings me into oneness with the Lord Jesus.A missionary is someone who is bound by marriage to the stated mission and purpose of his Lord and Master. He is not to proclaim his own point of view, but is only to proclaim \u201cthe Lamb of God.\u201d<\/div>\n<div class=\"post-content\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"post-content\">It is easier to belong to a faction that simply tells what Jesus Christ has done for me, and easier to become a devotee of divine healing, or of a special type of sanctification, or of the baptism of the Holy Spirit. But Paul did not say, \u201cWoe is me if I do not preach what Christ has done for me,\u201d but, \u201c\u2026woe is me if I do not preach the gospel!\u201d (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=1+Corinthians+9:16\">1 Corinthians 9:16<\/a>). And this is the gospel\u2014 \u201cthe Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!&#8221;<\/div>\n<div class=\"post-content\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"post-content\">_________________________________________________________________________<\/div>\n<div class=\"post-content\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"post-content\">October 15 2015<\/div>\n<div class=\"post-content\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"post-content\">Journal Entry for Today-JDV<\/div>\n<div class=\"post-content\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"post-content\">Good morning Lord, and thank you for the devotional and music that brings us right back to \u201cthe main thing being the main thing\u201d\u2026.namely Jesus and His provision for us. Once again You bring us right back to the key message for today and most other days when we seek Your voice in the morning; Jesus. Chambers reminds us that the key message for us to share is that Jesus chose the cross so that we may live in love, grace and mercy connected to You. As the song says today,\u00a0 \u201cThis is My Story\u201d the one we share with others, as we live out our surrender and connection every day.<\/div>\n<div class=\"post-content\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"post-content\">And God says\u2026\u201d<em>That is right, and by now you have learned that you cannot share this truth with others by simply telling people the story, you share this truth by living out the story. Most often you will not even be aware that your life is telling the story. The impact your story has on others is the result of the Holy Spirit living through you as you embrace each day surrendered, connected, curious and obedient.
