{"id":14197,"date":"2016-03-16T09:31:28","date_gmt":"2016-03-16T13:31:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/co2mannatoday.com\/?p=14197"},"modified":"2016-03-16T16:04:48","modified_gmt":"2016-03-16T20:04:48","slug":"the-master-will-judge-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/co2mannatoday.com\/?p=14197","title":{"rendered":"The Master Will Judge"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>We must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ\u2026 \u2014<a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?version=31&amp;search=2+Corinthians+5%3A10\" target=\"_blank\">2 Corinthians 5:10<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/9JXl1czvh7g\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<div class=\"col-sm-4\">\n<div class=\"mobile-sharing-button\">\u00a0Paul says that we must all, preachers and other people alike, \u201cappear before the judgment seat of Christ.\u201d But if you will learn here and now to live under the scrutiny of Christ\u2019s pure light, your final judgment will bring you only delight in seeing the work God has done in you. Live constantly reminding yourself of the judgment seat of Christ, and walk in the knowledge of the holiness He has given you. Tolerating a wrong attitude toward another person causes you to follow the spirit of the devil, no matter how saintly you are. One carnal judgment of another person only serves the purposes of hell in you. Bring it immediately into the light and confess, \u201cOh, Lord, I have been guilty there.\u201d If you don\u2019t, your heart will become hardened through and through.<\/div>\n<div class=\"mobile-sharing-button\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"mobile-sharing-button\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"mobile-sharing-button\">One of the penalties of sin is our acceptance of it. It is not only God who punishes for sin, but sin establishes itself in the sinner and takes its toll. No struggling or praying will enable you to stop doing certain things, and the penalty of sin is that you gradually get used to it, until you finally come to the place where you no longer even realize that it is sin. No power, except the power that comes from being filled with the Holy Spirit, can change or prevent the inherent consequences of sin.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<section class=\"entry-content\">\n<div class=\"post-content\">\n<p>\u201cIf we walk in the light <em>as He is in the light<\/em>\u2026\u201d (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=1+John+1:7\">1 John 1:7<\/a>). For many of us, walking in the light means walking according to the standard we have set up for another person. The deadliest attitude of the Pharisees that we exhibit today is not hypocrisy but that which comes from unconsciously living a lie.<\/p>\n<p>____________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p>March 16 2016<\/p>\n<p>Journal Entry for Today-JDV<\/p>\n<p>Good morning Lord. For years, as a boy and young Christian, I wondered and worried about the judgement seat of Christ. Would I measure up, would Jesus be disappointed in me? Would I hear, \u201cwell done my good and faithful servant?\u201d But then You taught me: <em>Believers will not be judged for sin at the judgment seat of Christ. Every sin of every believer was judged at the Cross, when God \u201cmade Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him\u201d (2 Cor. 5:21). At the cross \u201cChrist redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us\u201d (Gal. 3:13). As our substitute, \u201cHe Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness\u201d (1 Peter 2:24); \u201cHe, having offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, sat down at the right hand of God\u201d (Heb. 10:12; cf. Eph. 1:7; 4:32; 1 John 2:1\u20132). Because of His atoning sacrifice on our behalf, \u201cThere is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.\u2026 Who is the one who condemns?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>So God if this is true, then why is 2 Corinthians 5:10 so explicit? Why do we face the thought of being judged for what we do on earth? Why is it still even a discussion?<\/p>\n<p>And God says\u2026\u201d<em>The judgement is and will always be; \u201cnot guilty\u201d. You are not called to live under the threat of judgement, but under the promise of love, grace, and reward. When you surrendered your life to Jesus, you began to live under grace. And as you continue to surrender all your days and issues of your life to Me, you continue to live the abundant life. And in heaven, there is no condemnation for those that are in Christ Jesus.
