Jesus did not commit Himself to them . . .for He knew what was in man \u2014John 2:24-25<\/em><\/h4>\n

Put Trust in God First.<\/strong> Our Lord never put His trust in any person. Yet He was never suspicious, never bitter, and never lost hope for anyone, because He put His trust in God first. He trusted absolutely in what God\u2019s grace could do for others. If I put my trust in human beings first, the end result will be my despair and hopelessness toward everyone. I will become bitter because I have insisted that people be what no person can ever be\u2014 absolutely perfect and right. Never trust anything in yourself or in anyone else, except the grace of God.<\/p>\n

Put God\u2019s Will First.<\/strong> \u201cBehold, I have come to do Your will, O God\u201d (Hebrews 10:9).<\/p>\n

A person\u2019s obedience is to what he sees to be a need\u2014 our Lord\u2019s obedience was to the will of His Father. The rallying cry today is, \u201cWe must get to work! The heathen are dying without God. We must go and tell them about Him.\u201d But we must first make sure that God\u2019s \u201cneeds\u201d and His will in us personally are being met. Jesus said, \u201c. . . tarry . . . until you are endued with power from on high\u201d (Luke 24:49<\/a>). The purpose of our Christian training is to get us into the right relationship to the \u201cneeds\u201d of God and His will. Once God\u2019s \u201cneeds\u201d in us have been met, He will open the way for us to accomplish His will, meeting His \u201cneeds\u201d elsewhere.<\/p>\n

Put God\u2019s Son First.<\/strong> \u201cWhoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me\u201d (Matthew 18:5<\/a>).<\/p>\n

God came as a baby, giving and entrusting Himself to me. He expects my personal life to be a \u201cBethlehem.\u201d Am I allowing my natural life to be slowly transformed by the indwelling life of the Son of God? God\u2019s ultimate purpose is that His Son might be exhibited in me.<\/p>\n

Journal Entry for Today-JDV<\/p>\n

Lord, I know you have been reaching out to me in a number of ways lately, preparing me for a \u201cnext step\u201d. I do not know what that \u201cnext step\u201d is, but you have been reminding me that I am to put my trust in you, seek your will and to put Jesus first.\u00a0 You have placed me in positions where I must \u201cget out of the boat and walk\u201d and live the faith and trust you have provided. It feels like the rehearsals have been accelerated and it is almost time for the curtain to be raised on the very next step.<\/p>\n

.\u201d And God says\u2026\u201dAll things work for the good of those that trust the Lord and are called according to His purpose. \u00a0Trust in Me with all your heart and do not rely on your own understanding and I will make your paths straight. Delight yourself in the Lord and I will give you the desires of your heart. Those that wait upon the Lord will run and not be weary and will rise up as if they had wings of eagles. Trust, rest in Me, and let Jesus live through you\u2026..and have life and life more abundantly.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Good morning, Lord<\/em><\/p>\n

I have been wondering about vision. \u00a0 Vision from you \u2026. Vision that is of my own making?\u00a0 What\u2019s the difference?\u00a0 \u00a0 Finding your vision for me and jumping on that instead of asking you to bless my vision.\u00a0 These are things that I\u2019ve thought about over the years.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Last nite Tony was sharing his vision for a career in Green.\u00a0 \u00a0 Is it from you? Or just something nice. \u00a0 Can we use the assumed close? And start marching and be guided by closed doors – open doors?<\/p>\n

All of that is secondary. \u00a0 The main thing that will keep you on track is keeping tight with me. \u00a0 Then we can update and modify your vision and your passion in good time.\u00a0 \u00a0 Even if you are on an impure, or second rate or carnal vision \u2026 if you stay tight with me, it will become clear. \u00a0 I am always there to guide you \u2026 if you slow down and spend the time with me you will know the vision and the passion will follow.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
