There are many things calling each of us today. Some of these calls will be answered, and others will not even be heard.<a href=\"http:\/\/co2mannatoday.com\/wordpress\/?attachment_id=6063\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-6063\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-6063\" title=\"Screen Shot 2012-01-16 at 10.04.41 AM\" src=\"http:\/\/co2mannatoday.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/Screen-Shot-2012-01-16-at-10.04.41-AM1-300x159.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"180\" height=\"95\" srcset=\"http:\/\/co2mannatoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/Screen-Shot-2012-01-16-at-10.04.41-AM1-300x159.png 300w, http:\/\/co2mannatoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/Screen-Shot-2012-01-16-at-10.04.41-AM1.png 374w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 180px) 100vw, 180px\" \/><\/a> The call is the expression of the nature of the One who calls, and we can only recognize the call if that same nature is in us. The call of God is the expression of God\u2019s nature, not ours. God providentially weaves the threads of His call through our lives, and only we can distinguish them. It is the threading of God\u2019s voice directly to us over a certain concern, and it is useless to seek another person\u2019s opinion of it. Our dealings over the call of God should be kept exclusively between ourselves and Him.<a href=\"http:\/\/co2mannatoday.com\/wordpress\/?attachment_id=6066\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-6066\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-6066\" title=\"Screen Shot 2012-01-16 at 10.05.00 AM\" src=\"http:\/\/co2mannatoday.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/Screen-Shot-2012-01-16-at-10.05.00-AM1-300x106.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"180\" height=\"64\" srcset=\"http:\/\/co2mannatoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/Screen-Shot-2012-01-16-at-10.05.00-AM1-300x106.png 300w, http:\/\/co2mannatoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/Screen-Shot-2012-01-16-at-10.05.00-AM1.png 421w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 180px) 100vw, 180px\" \/><\/a>The call of God is not a reflection of my nature; my personal desires and temperament are of no consideration. As long as I dwell on my own qualities and traits and think about what I am suited for, I will never hear the call of God. But when God brings me into the right relationship with Himself, I will be in the same condition Isaiah was.<a href=\"http:\/\/co2mannatoday.com\/wordpress\/?attachment_id=6067\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-6067\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-6067\" title=\"Screen Shot 2012-01-16 at 10.04.23 AM\" src=\"http:\/\/co2mannatoday.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/Screen-Shot-2012-01-16-at-10.04.23-AM1-300x88.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"180\" height=\"53\" srcset=\"http:\/\/co2mannatoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/Screen-Shot-2012-01-16-at-10.04.23-AM1-300x88.png 300w, http:\/\/co2mannatoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/Screen-Shot-2012-01-16-at-10.04.23-AM1.png 349w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 180px) 100vw, 180px\" \/><\/a> Isaiah was so attuned to God, because of the great crisis he had just endured, that the call of God penetrated his soul. The majority of us cannot hear anything but ourselves. And we cannot hear anything God says. But to be brought to the place where we can hear the call of God is to be profoundly changed.<\/div>\n<div>______________________________________________<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>January 16, 2012<\/p>\n<p>Journal Entry for Today-JDV<\/p>\n<p>Lord, once again I woke up this morning in a prayer\u2026seeking You; seeking Your voice and direction. I remember, it was a prayer begun about four am, when I turned over, and it was on my heart and lips two hours later when I woke to the alarm. I was seeking You and the natural, or is it supernatural, intimacy I have enjoyed.\u00a0 But the intimacy was not right there at my \u201cbeck and call\u201d. So I searched harder. I suspect that was exactly what I was supposed to do.<\/p>\n<p><em>And God says\u2026\u201d Seek first the kingdom of God, which is Jesus\u2026knock and the door shall be opened, seek and you will find. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>When you seek Me, truly seek Me, and not just relief from your circumstances, you<br \/>\nwill find Me. I do not hide from you I am always right here with you as I [promised. However, you can miss Me when you are seeking something other than just Me. When you seek peace, relief, courage, healing, blessings, or a supernatural\u00a0 experience, you can find yourself struggling to find Me. But when you simply seek Me, you will always find Me, because I am not hidden. I will never leave you nor forsake you.
