Notice Jesus Christ\u2019s training of the Twelve. It was the disciples, not the crowd outside, who were confused. His disciples constantly asked Him questions, and He constantly explained things to them, but they didn\u2019t understand until after they received the Holy Spirit (see\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=John+14:26\">John 14:26<\/a>).&lt;object <a rel=\"attachment wp-att-706\" href=\"http:\/\/co2mannatoday.com\/wordpress\/?attachment_id=706\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-706\" title=\"Picture 5\" src=\"http:\/\/co2mannatoday.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/Picture-5.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"269\" height=\"86\" srcset=\"http:\/\/co2mannatoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/Picture-5.png 448w, http:\/\/co2mannatoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/Picture-5-300x95.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 269px) 100vw, 269px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>Can it be that the Holy Spirit cannot help us with our intellectual questions? Even intellectual questions regarding theology? Perhaps our understanding of supernatural truth requires supernatural revelation available only when we are connected to the Holy Spirit of God.<\/em>\u00a0<em>And as\u00a0DJR\u00a0says, we come to Him out of need and stay connected out of love. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><em>Perhaps we are stripped bare of intellectual curiosity when we are aware that\u00a0our needs are so great that they can only be addressed through intimacy with God. <\/em>JDV<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><\/em><\/p>\n<p>As you journey with God, the only thing He intends to be clear is the way He deals with your soul. The sorrows and difficulties in the lives of others will be absolutely confusing to you. We think we understand another person\u2019s struggle until God reveals the same shortcomings in our lives. There are vast areas of stubbornness and ignorance the Holy Spirit has to reveal in each of us, but it can only be done when Jesus gets us alone. Are we alone with Him now? Or are we more concerned with our own ideas, friendships, and cares for our bodies? <strong>Jesus cannot teach us anything until we quiet all our intellectual questions and get alone with Him.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>January 13, 2010 Have You Ever Been Alone with God?
