Jesus answered and said, \u2019I thank You, Father . . . that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes\u2019 \u2014Matthew 11:25<\/em><\/strong>
\n<\/embed><\/object>We do not grow into a spiritual relationship step by step\u2014 we either have a relationship or we do not. God does not continue to cleanse us more and more from sin\u2014 \u201cBut if we walk in the light,\u201d we\u00a0are<\/em>cleansed \u201cfrom all sin\u201d (1 John 1:7<\/a>). It is a matter of obedience, and once we obey, the relationship is instantly perfected. But if we turn away from obedience for even one second, darkness and death are immediately at work again.<\/p>\n

All of God\u2019s revealed truths are sealed until they are opened to us through obedience. You will never open them through philosophy or thinking. But once you obey, a flash of light comes immediately. Let God\u2019s truth work into you by immersing yourself in it, not by worrying into it. The only way you can get to know the truth of God is to stop trying to find out and by being born again. If you obey God in the first thing He shows you, then He instantly opens up the next truth to you. You could read volumes on the work of the Holy Spirit, when five minutes of total, uncompromising obedience would make things as clear as sunlight. Don\u2019t say, \u201cI suppose I will understand these things someday!\u201d You can understand them now. And it is not study that brings understanding to you, but obedience. Even the smallest bit of obedience opens heaven, and the deepest truths of God immediately become yours. Yet God will never reveal more truth about Himself to you, until you have obeyed what you know already. Beware of becoming one of the \u201cwise and prudent.\u201d \u201cIf anyone wills to do His will, he shall know . . .\u201d (John 7:17<\/a>).<\/p>\n

\nI find myself so often saying to myself and you that I wish I could hear your voice more clearly. Then, I tell myself that I would obey instantly. But you seem to like to use the \u201cstill small voice\u201d \u2026 so it doesn\u2019t register loud and clear \u2026 and I wind up doing what is right in my own eyes. I\u2019m sure I\u2019ve missed some of your best plans for me. What to do?
\nYour head is full of many things, ideas, fears, dreams, what if scenarios and so much cacophany that my voice is drowned out \u2026 especially when I use my still small voice \u2026 which I prefer. Rest assured, I have a big booming voice \u2026 but that\u2019s not the one you want to hear. Practice getting still. Practice listening and being curious to hear and see what I will show you when you leave the din of the world behind. You say you want to hear \u2026 and I want nothing more than to have you hear and obey and we will do exploits together. <\/em>
\nOswald today said that we wont hear more until we obey what we\u2019ve heard already.
\nThat\u2019s basically true, but of course I can over-ride that, because I love you. Sometimes I will show you things even without your previous obedience.
